Global Colorado Mission:
Unprecedented global change impacts the United States as a whole, yet affects each state differently. We aim to address how globalization affects Colorado. The Global Colorado Initiative draws upon insights and expertise from business and industry, agriculture, the professions, federal, state and local government, the media, academia and civil society to:
- Enhance civic engagement and quality of life in Colorado
- Grow the Colorado economy and create jobs
- Secure Colorado and its people

Basic Timeline:
•13 May 2011 – Kick-off Conference where issues are discussed and debated in the context of the greater lenses
•20 September 2011 – Plenary Session
•10 November 2011– Plenary Session - To be held at 4pm at the Denver Country Club
